The
talented singers Kefentse Moloko and Vali Ray said that Black Labone is a safe
haven for any upcoming artist or a singer to explore and discover themselves
without any fear of being judged as this is a loving community that receives a
person just as they are allowing them to grow into their craft.
Vali Ray
added that she knew she made a great choice when she decided to become a part
of this group as it has molded her into a better person and a singer she is now
more confident about her talent and is now even able to perform using a live
band.
A variety of food and drinks are sold at the
venue. People can enjoy a satisfying meal and beverage while having fun. This
is a good place for gathering, having fun and learning about different types of
art.
Mr. Kefentse highlighted that he would recommend this medium for
any young person who is looking at growing their music career or anyone who has
a business that they would like to grow.
Anele
Dlamini who sells books and art craft said, “I enjoy attending the event. It
gives me an opportunity to have fun and be amongst other artists. This is a
good way to market my business and get customers who find my products and books
interesting,” she said.
She
added that this is a motivation for her to go there any chance she gets since
this adds to her source of income. Black Labone is a good place for young artists to express themselves and grow their talents.
