Different kinds of people are found at this place as there is also a market place where artists showcase and sell their art while others get to put their businesses on the market. TUT Res League Netball Match TCE2 VS Sosh5

By: Palesa Nququ Twitter: @NququPalesa Email: mbarly23@gmail.com A res league netball match took place on Saturday between two TUT residence teams, Sosh5 and TCE2. Sosh5 had an upper hand. Leading the game with scoring 5-7 goals within the 1st quarter of the game. The first quarter of the match seemed to be quite challenging for TCE2 as they only managed to obtain 2-3 goals. Sosh5 playing against TCE2 Sosh5 continued to lead the game against their opponent throughout the match, TCE2 tried their best to redeem themselves with 3 goals in the third quarter but unfortunately could not keep up with their opposing team. Sosh5 led the game to the last minute.  ‘’This game was a bit intense that is what I have noticed. She is well known for her delicious food especially her kota people seem to be madly in love with it, alongside that she also sells sandwich burgers known as a dagwood with chips on the side. Thando preparing food for the customers She says she took initiative to start her business in 2019. Thando then went on to add by saying that her motive to sell food came from her passion for cooking as she had once attended a culinary school in the previous years, her mother then suggested that they start selling kotas and ever since then she has never looked back.   Her business once went through a rough patch where she was mot making enough money but she did not even think of giving up. EMPOWER CHURCH FRIDAY NIGHT YOUTH SERVICE

They church welcomes teenagers from the age of 13 to come join them. They do not need membership to join. The youth enjoying their Friday night at church This service is aimed at educating young people about God and guiding them into making wise life choices. The church has movies included on their program every Friday night. The youth leaders mentioned that they are doing this to keep the youth off the streets and show them that they can have fun inside the house of the Lord while grooming them into responsible young adults. The teenagers enjoy their time at church on Friday evenings as they get to gather in the same place with their peers and bring along friends and a have a good time. As we all know journalists have the right to freedom of press and other media just like everyone else,which is even exempted from that of other individuals as it is their obligation to provide the public with information. Two Journalists  one an acting editor of Sunday World by the name of Kabelo Khumalo and Julia Madibogo  from City Press both sent questions to Somizi Mhlongo for different stories they were were working on. The questions were based on rumours about him and his husband  Mogale Motaung Mhlongo getting a divorce,which was well within their rights because they have the responsibility to gather and distribute news. The journalists had no intentions of causing any harm which is why they chose to ask him if the rumours were true before they could have made a decision to just run with the story based on rumours without having the accurate information. The Year 2020 has not been what most of us were hoping it would be

A year that caught us by surprise ! On the 31st of December which is known to be a new year eve we were all looking forward to the new year ahead of us the year 2020. In expaxtion we had a year filled with prosperity, fulfilment and achieving goals.Everything looked promising until we were attacked by the New Novel Corona Virus also known as Covid-19. This is a virus from Wuhan in China it affects mainly the respiratory system. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that this pandemic would get to South Africa! We all saw what happened in China it was a tragedy people were dying in large numbers everyday and we never thought that this would happen to us. During the month of  March 2020 South Africa reported it's first case of Covid-19, something we didn't see coming.
